Following a 15-inning walkoff loss to the Toronto Blue Jays, the Baltimore Orioles bounced back to get a 11-4 win.
The Orioles’ win was fueled by first baseman Trey Mancini who had his first career five hit game scoring two runs in the game and an RBI.
The Orioles scored three home runs in the game from leftfielder Dwight Smith Jr. in the fourth inning, catcher Austin Wynns also in the fourth inning, and rightfielder DJ Stewart in the sixth inning.
This season has been a struggle for the Baltimore Orioles as the win improves their record to just 52-106 the second worst record in the MLB. The Orioles have only made the postseason three times in the past 21 years.
The Orioles and Blue Jays will play the last game of their season series this evening.
