The Baltimore started off the 2019 NFL season with a near perfect performance securing a 59-10 win against the Miami Dolphins. The 59 points scored by the Baltimore Ravens is the most points they have ever scored in a season opening game outdoing the 47 points scored in last season’s season opener. The 49 point margin of victory is their largest margin of victory in a season opening game outdoing their 44 point margin of victory in last season’s season opener.

Lamar Jackson was nearly flawless in this game going 17/20 passing for 324 yards scoring five touchdowns in the game with four coming in the first half.

Robert Griffin III would play in the fourth quarter in relief of Jackson and would go a perfect 6/6 passing for 55 yards and scoring a touchdown. This moment was made special by Griffin dedicating his performance to his newborn daughter born 6:00 p.m. last night.

Veteran running back Mark Ingram II played well in his Ravens debut rushing for 107 yards on 14 carries scoring two touchdowns. Ravens rookie receiver had a successful NFL debut with four catches for 147 yards and two touchdowns including an 83-yard touchdown. Ravens tight end Mark Andrews had eight catches for 108 yards and a touchdown.

The Ravens defense also played well allowing just 21 rushing yards on 12 carries for the Dolphins. The defense finished the game with two interceptions, three sacks, six tackles for loss, seven pass deflections, 12 quarterback hits.

Next week the Baltimore Ravens will face off against 2019 number one overall draft pick Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals in their first home game.
