DJ Unk, Creator of Iconic Hit “Walk It Out,” Has Passes Away At Age of 42
DJ Unk, the legendary Atlanta artist best known for his 2006 hit “Walk It Out,” has passed away. His family confirmed the news online, though details surrounding his death have not yet been released.
Born Anthony Platt, DJ Unk became a prominent figure in hip-hop during the mid-2000s. His infectious dance anthems, such as “Walk It Out” and “2 Step,” helped define an era of Atlanta’s vibrant music scene. “Walk It Out,” part of his debut album Beat’n Down Yo Block!, topped the charts and became a cultural phenomenon. The track earned DJ Unk widespread recognition and cemented his legacy in hip-hop history.
