The Baltimore Ravens went on the road to one of the toughest arena’s to play in the NFL in CenturyLink Field to face the 5-1 Seattle Seahawks. There, the Baltimore Ravens would secure a 30-16 win their third straight win.
The defense of the Ravens ruled the day accounting for two of the team’s three touchdowns in the game. The first came in the second quarter off a 67-yard pick six by cornerback Marcus Peters who they acquired in a trade from the Los Angeles Rams earlier this week. The interception was the first Russell Wilson has thrown this season.
The second came in the fourth quarter via 18-yard fumble recovery by cornerback Marlon Humphrey. These are the first two defensive touchdowns on the season for the Ravens.
The only offensive touchdown in the game by the Ravens came from quarterback Lamar Jackson on an eight yard rushing touchdown.
While Lamar Jackson did not have a great passing performance going 9/20 passing for 143 yards, he did do well on the ground rushing for 116 yards on 14 attempts.
The win improves the Ravens record to 5-2 and drops the Seahawks record to 5-2.
The Ravens next week will be on a bye week returning the following week at home for Sunday Night Football to face reigning Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.
