Washington — Washington Nationals All-Star right fielder Bryce Harper, won the Home Run Derby last night.  To make things sweeter, he secured the victory at Nationals Park, home field to the Nationals. He went on an amazing run, hitting 9 home runs in the last 50 seconds to get his first Home Run Derby Victory.

This Home Run Derby proved to be historical. The eight participants totaled 221 homers, the most in Teen-Mobile’s Home Run Derby history.

Harper hit 45 homers for the night, while Kyle Schwarber finished with 55 overall.

In the final round Harper hit 19 home runs to clinch the victory. It was about as close as it could get, as Chicago Cubs Schwarber batted 18 home runs. Check the full stats below:
