Wendell Freeman, Baltimore City Mayoral Candidate, is excited to announce the rescheduling of his Mayoral Campus Campaign Tour Kickoff event at Morgan State University to March 6. The event, originally slated for February 24, will now take place in honor of Women’s History Month.
As a black HBCU in Baltimore, Morgan State University holds a special significance in the community. Recognizing the importance of engaging with young voters, Freeman, aged 29 himself, aims to connect with college students and encourage them to utilize their voices at the polls.
The event will serve as a platform for Freeman to share his vision for Baltimore and emphasize the importance of civic engagement among the youth. With his relatability to students and dedication to creating change within communities, Freeman seeks to inspire the next generation of leaders.
“We believe that the youth have the power to shape the future of our city,” said Freeman. “By engaging with college students and encouraging them to use their voices through voting, we can create positive change and build a better Baltimore together.”
The Mayoral Campus Campaign Tour Kickoff event will feature speeches, discussions, and interactive sessions aimed at empowering young voters and fostering civic participation. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Freeman’s platform, ask questions, and engage in meaningful dialogue about the future of Baltimore.
