After losing both games three and four on their home floor, the Golden State Warriors bounce back with a game five win on the road 106-105 to advance the NBA Finals to a game six bringing the series back to Oakland one last time.

This was an incredible back and forth game with the Warriors leading for most of the first half leading by as much as 13 and going into the halftime locker room up six points. The third quarter was more of the same for the Warriors to start as they extended their lead to 14 by a score of 77-63 with 5:46 left in the third quarter.

The Raptors would continue to fight bringing their deficit down to six going into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Raptors would go on a run taking the lead at the 5:13 mark of the fourth quarter and would lead by as much as six after Kawhi Leonard scored 10 straight points in a two minute stretch.

From there the Warriors dynamic backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson would hit three consecutive 3-pointers to give the Warriors the lead back.  The Raptors had a chance to win the game on a three point shot from Kyle Lowry but it was partially blocked by Draymond Green sealing the win for the Warriors and extending the NBA Finals to a sixth game back in Oakland.

The Warriors backcourt led them to this win with Stephen Curry scoring 31 points along with eight rebounds, seven assists and five 3-pointers.  Klay Thompson had 26 points, six assists, four assists and seven 3-pointers along with hitting the final three-pointer that would give the Warriors the lead on their way to victory.

The Raptors were again led by Kawhi Leonard who filled up the stat sheet with 26 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. Kyle Lowry had 18 points, six assists and four rebounds in the game but missed shots and turnovers for the Raptors kept them from winning this game and the series.

Kevin Durant had a short-lived return in game five with 11 points before having to exit the game with an apparent achilles injury leaving Scotiabank Arena with crutches and a walking boot.  Kevon Looney, who was thought to be out for the remainder of the NBA Finals following a chest injury sustained in game two, also exited the game and did not return after aggravating the injury.

Game six will take place Thursday at 9:00 ET where the Raptors will have a second chance to clinch an NBA championship and the Warriors to extend the series to a game seven on Sunday.
