Governor Hogan lifting capacity limits on dining, retail and religious establishments

The most dramatic turn of events will take place this Friday as Gov. Larry Hogan has said he will lift capacity limits on indoor and outdoor dining, retail businesses, venues, adult daycares, and religious establishments. Quarantine and travel requirements will also be lifted. This is a huge step moving forward for the DMV as just a few months back in November Gov. Larry Hogan had restrictions to slow the spread of the virus including bar curfews, dine-in curfews, and limited crowding.

Effective Friday, March 12th at 5 pm capacity limits will be lifted. Gov. Larry Hogan says “The time is right” to lift restrictions. But Hogan also states “Masking, physical distancing, and other safety protocols will remain and our health metrics steadily improving, the lifting of these restrictions is a prudent, positive step in the right direction and an important part of our economic recovery.
