Lor Maud is a young 19-year-old artist from the DMV area specifically Baltimore Maryland.  His sound is different from many in his city and he is often thought to be from somewhere else.  He has been releasing music for 4 years and has not let up since then.  During these 4 years, he has gone through many trials and tribulations but has done nothing but progress and grow his fan base locally and from state to state.  He is definitely a promising future star and will be a problem in the industry.  November 21, Lor Maud released his latest project “MoWorld” in memory of his deceased friend “Moses”.  The project has 19 songs and Lor Maud has mentioned he has visuals on the way for many songs from the project.  Be sure to keep a wide eye open for this young artist”.

Tell us about your recent release:

My most recently released project is “MoWorld” a 19 song album that is available on Apple Music, Itunes, Spotify, and amazon dedicated to my decreased friend “Moses”.

Who inspired you to make music?

My friend Moses Lorenso who the “MoWorld” album is dedicated to.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Someone who attacks the beat rather than just going with the beat and giving fans insight on my daily thoughts in every line.

What is your creative process like?

My creative process varies but I either write my songs then record about 2 songs in a hour or go in the booth with nothing written and just do 1 or 2 bars at a time and keep punching in till it is over and make about the same amount of songs (2 per hour).

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

I would like to work with artists from different cities that I have been watching for years and looking up to such as Lil Baby, Polo G, Money Man, and new artists as well such as Pooh Shiesty and Dirty Tay.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

Everything is real and coming from my heart.  I want them to feel every bar and think to themselves I can tell he meant that line.

What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?

I’m not sure this has been my life for many years now.

Where have you performed?

I have performed at local spots in my city such as fun city, shake and bake and a few other small spots.  I have performed in front of at the most about 500 people before.

How would you say Social Media has impacted your music career?

Over the years social media has expanded my fan base and given me a good way to spread my music worldwide.  I’m definitely thankful for this social media era.

Which famous musician(s) do you admire?

I look up to most artists who are living the dreams I plan to live but I mainly admire independent artists such as Money Man.

What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?

Over the last 3 years, I have gotten into many situations with the law and was charged with firearm possession 4 separate times, and only twice was a handgun actually recovered.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Keep going.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

I feel as though talent is overlooked by popularity and image these days and that leads to many artist being never discovered who deserved it

What’s next for

Plenty of good music, projects, visuals, and getting a step closer to the top every single day.
