Police officers are currently investigating a sexual assault that occurred on the Rock Creek Trail in Kensington, Maryland Tuesday evening, according to WTOP News.
The Maryland-National Capital Park Police’s Montgomery County division claimed that a juvenile young woman was being followed from behind, pulled and wrestled to the ground and then inappropriately touched near the trail at Parkwood Drive and Clearbrook Lane at around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
A witness heard her screaming and went looking to see what it was, at which point the suspect had fled.
The police later described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his late teens to mid-20s, between 5 feet, 4 inches and 5 feet, 6 inches, skinny and has dark hair and the latest reports claim that he was not wearing a mask.
