I call myself a “connector of dots” because I don’t like to limit myself to a specific label. If I say I’m an event planner, it puts me in a box. I can do many things. I use my network to help people. So essentially I do all the “connecting” to get people to their final picture/idea being brought to life.
I’ve done a lot of showcases in Connecticut. I’ve also done some events in Philly and New York. I’ve done brunches, beauty classes, parties and more.
I really love the showcases because I like coming across new talent. The energy is just different from hosting parties. The artists really put their all into their crafts so it’s just really dope to see.
In NY I like to say “YERRRR” between acts when I have to hop on the mic. Makes the interaction with the crowd feel like family lol.
Marketing has been in my life since I was 8 years old. It’s something that is second nature to me. Marketing is everywhere when you think about it. So I knew when I developed a passion for it, I could really work in any industry. My love for Music is why I tend to do more marketing towards that and work with more clients in that field because that’s where I’m the most knowledgeable. I’m not hesitant to work in other areas. I actually enjoy being tested in a new market. It’s fun to learn. But typically I do marketing plans for artist to help increase their current standing as an artist and gain them more awareness. I don’t like pay for play things. You can’t pay me to post your music. I’d rather break down analytics, work one on one for project campaign roll outs and connect them with individuals that could teach them things and elevate their career. That’s ultimately what it’s all about.
I work closely on a team, Pace Music Group, and an artist by the name of ANoyd. I have other clients such as DJ’s, photographers and videographers.
I’ve done a lot of things in Connecticut. I’ve collabed with 40oz NYC. I’ve done a panel that got featured in RapFest called, Now You Know. I’ve done some mixer events, brunches, parties etc.
Second quarter of the year will be dope!
