Three things we don’t know about you?

• I engineer most of my music myself.  I am evolving overall in terms of music and getting my hands in all aspects.  I engineer for other artists as well.
  
• I direct all of my music videos.
  
• I have never written down any song I ever made since I started recording music.  I hear the beat, vibe and the lyrics come–that is my method.

 Favorite pre-studio traditions? 

 • I usually don’t like to hear the beat until I get to my sessions so all my ideas and thoughts are fresh. I don’t write,  just get in my zone and ignite.

Define the music industry

   • I’ve come to understand that in a perfect world talent and creativity matter.  But the reality of what I’ve really come to know is that it’s strictly business.  In the end, it’s all about what you can bring to the table and how other people can benefit from you and your gift. A lot of artificial things going on in the music industry but as far as where music is headed I think the music industry is very watered down and over-saturated, to be honest. I think the industry needs more artist with substance, more artist who don’t want to fit the mold. 

Artists and media personalities you like to work with more?

  • Add the legends, OGs, and greats that came before me and led the way. The Jay-Zs, Birdmans, you know ..all the  people we grew up on. Local wise, I’m willing to work with anyone who takes their craft serious, ya digg.  Let’s put our egos aside and come together and do some historic things for the city and take this music scene to a whole other level.

• Media, say cheese , DJ Smallz, Vlad TV , Karen Civil and any other major platform that’s pushing the culture forward. Any media outlet locally just hit up my manager and I’d love to work.
