A toddler was rushed to the hospital earlier Wednesday after falling nine stories from an apartment building in White Oak.
Around 1 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene at Chateau Apartments.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer stated that the toddler was accompanied by a caregiver inside the apartment when she felled out the window into some mulch.
When paramedics arrived on the scene, the found the girl in the lobby of the building conscious and breathing.
She was taken to Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are currently investigating the incident.
