Despite COVID-19 forcing the draft to be conducted 100% virtually, the first NFL Draft in the decade of the 2020s went off without a hitch. The Washington Redskins had eight picks in this year’s NFL draft looking to rebound from what was a tough decade in the 2010s. In the decade, the team finished with a record below .500 seven times only making the postseason twice and finished with the worst record in the NFC East five times. Last season, the Redskins completed the season with a record of 3-13 the second worst record in the NFL and the worst record in the NFC. This was the first time the Redskins had the worst record in the NFC since 2013 when they also finished that season with a 3-13 record.
