Double Take – Meet Keek, the Manager and Older Brother of YungManny

At 23 years old, Keek is the older brother of teen sensation, YungManny. Born in London, they now reside in Maryland, where YungManny was born. Keek’s music style is extremely different from his brother’s. Inspired by Kanye West and Chief Keef, Keek decided that he wanted to bring a different spin to what those usually associate with Afrobeats.

Before deciding to take his own music career serious, he is the mastermind in managing his brother YungManny and his cousin Xanman. Now they are set and introduced to the world, he is taking the stride to catapult himself into the industry as an artist.

With about a seven-year gap between him and his brother, music lovers can expect that his music will contain more mature content. Still, Keek assures that he will not be promoting violence, sexism, or social tension. He aspires to make what he calls “feel-good music with Afro vibes.”

Since a young age, Keek devoted his life to the Christian faith and spent his early years in the church. He continually credits his success to his devotion and belief in God. He firmly believes that the keys to life are hard work and doing unto others as they do unto you–refreshing, to say the least, to see that there is still youth that abide by these rules of life.

Combine these things: his morals, his Nigerian background, and his faith, and you get his new single, “D.I.V.I.N.E.”
