If You’re Skeptical About Forex, You Should Read This

Many young professionals have turned to entrepreneurship, business ownership, trading and investment opportunities, and even real estate ownership as avenues on the path to reaching financial freedom. The new ‘digital age’ and rising opportunities to ‘make money from your smartphone’ has had a huge impact on the popularity and attention to the foreign exchange market.

According to Investopedia, the foreign exchange market, also known as forex, is an over-the-counter global marketplace that determines the exchange rate for currencies around the world. Participants can buy, sell, exchange, and speculate on currencies. Foreign exchange markets are made up of banks, forex dealers, commercial companies, central banks, investment management firms, hedge funds, retail forex dealers, and investors.

26-year-old founder of Let’s Get These Mills Invest Group LLC, Steven Mills, was introduced to forex early in his college career through an old friend, and current mentor.

“I was actually introduced to the foreign exchange market in college,” Mills said, “My neo, Bryce Thompson, started Tradehouse Investment Group around the foreign market like myself.  While we were in college together at Morehouse College in Atlanta, he had many events and webinars where we was explaining how to make money in the foreign exchange market and would talk to me about joining the business and how I could excel within Network Marketing.”

With his passion for helping others and his competitive spirit, Mills founded Let’s Get These Mills Invest Group LLC in April 2019 to influence others to not only think about their future and investments, but also think differently about financial freedom.

“I grew up around poverty, section 8 and food stamps and I hated to see my friends and family struggling just to get by and live,” Mills said, adding that he wanted to “help those families who understand the struggle of working paycheck to paycheck.” He continued, “I want to give people a purpose to know that their situation now, doesn’t always have to be their situation in the future if they just believe and work for the betterment of their families.”

Although forex is garnering more attention in this new digital age, there is a lot of skepticism around the legitimacy of trading with forex. As stated in a 2017 article by ValueTrades.com, 5 Forex Trading Myths Debunked and Explained,the most common myth associated with forex trading is that it’s a get-rich-quick scheme. However, according to the article, it is anything but a get-rich-quick scheme, as mastering the forex market and earning serious profit actually takes, time, effort, and dedication.

“I believe people are skeptical around the foreign exchange market because they simply don’t know about it and don’t take the time out to research it,” Mills explained. “The main way I combat the skepticism is to just show people the results that we have and testimonies of people who have joined the business. We are real people with real results.”

Since it was established in 2019, Let’s Get These Mills has grown to over 50 members in the past year and Mills plans to continue growing the company to over 50,000 members and bringing more awareness to financial freedom over the next 5 years.

“I feel like many people still live by the idea of going to college for 2 to 4 years, getting a degree and working a 9 to 5  their whole life,” Mills said. “I want this new generation to understand that times are changing. We can’t continue to follow the paths that our parents and grandparents took working for corporations 40-50 years until retirement. It’s time for us to learn how to build our own credit, start our own LLCs and become our own business owners.”

Mills attributes his new outlook on financial freedom to his involvement with forex and encourages those who want to get involved but may be skeptical to educate themselves and do their research.

“This market has made 66 six figure earners in less than a year and 11 seven figure earners,” Mills said. “It takes most jobs from entry-level positions at least 5-7 years before you’re making that type of money. It takes courage, hunger and wisdom to accept change and lead the masses and that’s my number one goal.
