LaMelo Ball is Starting to Make A Lot of NBA Scouts Believers
From Chino Hills High School sensation to a potential lottery pick. Its been a long journey for 18-year-old point guard LaMelo Ball. The vision is all coming together now as Ball keeps progressing and amazing NBA scouts.
According to ESPN’S draft analyst Jonathan Givony, an anonymous NBA executive said:
“If he keeps this up, I don’t see any way he isn’t in the conversation for the No. 1 overall pick. He completely changed my perception of the type of prospect he is, and all of the background info I gathered here from his coaches and teammates paint a very different story of what I thought about him off the court as well.”
ESPN moved Ball all the way to No. three on their current NBA 2020 mock draft board. Just this past June he was at the bottom of the first round.
Freshman University of Memphis center James Wiseman and University of Georgia small forward Anthony Edwards are the only two players ahead of him.
Ball recently played in front of 27 NBA scouts and some national media this past weekend. In his debut for the Illawarra Hawks, he scored 19 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out 7 assists.
