His opinion on originality and artist from just rapper

Time, innovation and consistency separates a music artist from your typical rapper – Flex Kartel

His example is Drake, who always is relevant due to dropping constant different styles of music, putting on new artists, putting out new music videos, incorporating other cultures into his music, and staying true to himself. Drake can do what he wants because of the system he set up.  He set up the art he puts out as revenue. Rapper can make money but if you don’t venture into other avenues you put a limit on your own revenue.  Like one of his early classics, “he is unstoppable! –  Flex Kartel

Originality is find new and positive ways to sell you brand, not just your music but yourself. As a music artist, you have to find new ways to live the music you put out! It’s an extension of you! – Flex Kartel
