His example is Drake, who always is relevant due to dropping constant different styles of music, putting on new artists, putting out new music videos, incorporating other cultures into his music, and staying true to himself. Drake can do what he wants because of the system he set up. He set up the art he puts out as revenue. He credits the carribeans, Popcaan, Lauryn Hill, Biggie, Craig David, Slim form 112, old Fabulous, and Lil Wayne for influencing his music style. Some of his examples of musical geniuses are Kanye, Drake, Meek Mill, Wale, and Nelly. He would also love to work with them as well asides from Biggie. (RIP Mr. Wallace) Other artists he would love to make music with is The Dream, PartyNextDoor, Missy Elliot, Daniel Ceaser, Frank Ocean, Ryan Leslie, and Erykah Badu.
