This week on Fashion Trend of The Week I would like to present DMV’s own streetwear brand FromTheTrenchez by @LilScotty_. As you may know FromTheTrenchez “the brand with the three hearts”, late last decade was the the birth and rise of this phenomenal brand that made a heavy mark throughout the DMV that led to shockwaves traveling across the country and overseas. The brand alone has proven its wealth by its stock rise as it continues to get more exposure and notoriety by consistently releasing merchandise, having the merchandise being sold out on the same night as the drop creating a high demand for re-releases and or pre-ordering, successful pop-up shops, and also having intruders try to mimic its famous design and try to profit for their own. As far as that goes, “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”. Aside from that, @LilScotty_ has proven to be a very successful entrepreneur with the overall development of his brand and likeliness of fellow DMV artists Goonew, Lil Dude, the fairly new rap sensation from Michigan Since99, and social media sensation Big Winnn. Again, another company I am excited to see on the forefront in the near future to represent the DMV in the best light while becoming bigger than just a DMV brand.
