In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Keeping Hopes Alive hosted their second annual back-to-school drive, providing free haircuts and school supplies to over 100 students in Baltimore City. This event, which took place just in time for the new school year, aimed to ensure that local students feel confident and prepared as they head back to the classroom.

The event brought together some of the city’s top barbers who generously donated their time and skills to give fresh haircuts to the children. Special thanks go to Leonard Washington (@think_leonard), Jalayia Jefferson (@groomedbyjay), and Darron Edwards (@realestrichestbarber) for their incredible work. These talented barbers not only helped the students look their best but also contributed to fostering a sense of pride and confidence among them.

KHA’s mission is to help youths, adults, and families find self-worth, build their value, and offer a safe and supportive environment to overcome mental health challenges. The drive was a resounding success, reflecting the power of community support and the positive impact it can have on young lives.
