Arsenal And Chelsea Set To Face Off Against Washington Spirit At Audi Field

The Washington Spirit’s first home match of the season is this Saturday at Audi Field. In August, Audi Field will host international women’s soccer powerhouses Arsenal and Chelsea.

Arsenal will play the Washington Spirit on August 18, featuring Arsenal star and Ashburn native Emily Fox against USWNT teammates Trinity Rodman, Casey Krueger, Aubrey Kingsbury, and Andi Sullivan. Arsenal has won 14 English Women’s Super League championships.

On August 25, Audi Field will host a doubleheader: the Spirit vs. Kansas City Current, followed by a friendly between Chelsea and Arsenal. Spirit CEO Kim Stone highlighted this event as a major step in growing women’s soccer globally.

Tickets go on sale June 18 for season ticket members and June 20 for the general public.
