Former Forest Park Teacher, Coach Acquitted of Indecent Exposure Charges

A former Forest Park High School teacher and boys lacrosse coach has been found not guilty of felony charges stemming from allegations that he exposed himself to students inside a classroom in 2025. Coy Dubik had faced three counts of indecent liberties by a custodian following an incident reported at Forest Park High School on June 4, 2025.

The case began when a school resource officer launched an investigation after students reported an incident involving Dubik inside a classroom. At the time, Prince William County police said Dubik was sitting at his desk with students present when multiple students alleged they saw him expose himself and make inappropriate gestures. The students subsequently reported the alleged conduct to school staff.

Following the investigation, authorities obtained arrest warrants for Dubik. He was arrested on June 16, 2025, and charged with three counts of indecent liberties by a custodian. Police records at the time listed Dubik as 40 years old and said he was released on a $15,000 unsecured bond. Dubik was also the boys varsity lacrosse coach at Forest Park High School. He was placed on leave following the allegations, according to reporting at the time.

More than a year after the allegations were first reported, the criminal case concluded with an acquittal. The Prince William Times reported Sept. 19, 2026, that the judge found Dubik not guilty after determining the students’ accounts of what occurred were conflicting.
