Large Quantities Of Crack Cocaine And Marijuana Seized In Virginia

In Henrico County, Virginia, a man was arrested after a Virginia State trooper seized large quantities of drugs from his car after a DUI traffic stop, according to WSLS.

At around 1 am, 36-year-old Sohail Farooque had been traveling north on Interstate 95 at the 82-mile marker when trooper J. Rivera eventually stopped him after he saw that Farooque was going 94 mph in a 65 mph zone.

The stop is what led to the seizure of 5 pounds of crack cocaine and 25 pounds of marijuana inside of his car.

Farooque was soon arrested on DUI and illegal drug charges and is currently being held in the Henrico County jail.
