Grammy-nominated artist Lata Harbor is back with a new single “Wash My Hands”
  • PublishedMarch 27, 2020

Returning the music scene after a two-year hiatus, Lata Harbor (a.k.a Bobby Brackins) released his brand new single entitled “Wash My Hands.”  The pop-leaning song tells a story about a couple calling quits out of a toxic relationship—the song features guest vocals from Marc E. Bassy, Collett, and August 08. Longtime collaborator Nic Nac produced it, giving the song a more acrostic and sutle sound.

“Wash my hands” is the first record Lata Harbor is releasing under his new moniker. With this pandemic we are currently facing, the new single also serves as a constant reminder to wash your hand and to practice social distancing.

“Lata Harbor is basically my Gnarls Barkley to Cee-Lo Green or Childish Gambino to Donald Glover or 2 Chainz to Tity Boi.”Like any creative, I’ve grown artistically over the years and I keep evolving. I was ‘Young Bob’ during the GO DAV days of 2005-2009, I was Bobby Brackins who made the song “143” with Ray J and co-wrote radio anthems for Chris Brown, Tinashe, Bieber, Ty Dolla $ign, etc. from 2010-2019 and now with my newfound love of screenwriting, I decided to change my name to Lata Harbor. Lata Harbor houses my new collaborative efforts with my favorite people to work with and showcases my deeper songwriting.“ said Lata

“Wash my hands” is available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes Store, Amazon Music, Tidal, and Deezer.
