A nanny from Prince George’s County has been found guilty of murder after force-feeding an 8-month old baby which led to her death.
On Monday February 11th, Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office said that 73-year-old Oluremi Adeleye Oyindasola has been found guilty of second degree murder, second and first degree of child abuse resulting in death.
In October 2016, Oyindasola was a live-in nanny at the resdience of Nikia Porter and Influence Salubi where she cared for their three children.
She was caught on a home nanny camera with 8-month-old Enita Salubi. In the video footage, the infant was seen in a baby walker pulling on Oyindasola’s dress and patting her leg while she was lying on the couch.
Oyindasola then gets up and tries to feed the baby, but prosecuters say she was later seen removing the nipple of the bottle and pouring the milk into Enita’s mouth until she is no longer conscious.
8-month-old Enita was taken to the University of Maryland Prince George’s Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Oyindasola is set for sentencing on May 3, 2019.
