Poem Of The Week: Ruin Your Day: B Dot Vs Sistar Outspoken

This week on Poem Of The Week I’ve decided to take a different route as for this isn’t your typical poem. In other words, this more like a war with words. Diving into the realm of the battle rap culture with these two solidified lyricists that go by the name Sistar Outspoken and B Dot. As for this isn’t a traditional three round battle,  this is a one round battle and also a baby shower event. Overall, as for the event is for fellow battle rap associate Dre Vishiss and his family, the bout brought more significance. Especially as far as the recent events of tragedy towards the black community. Even though the two lyricists display their flawless effort with wordplay mixed with their personal background, they delve into a very intense metaphorical scheme. With their content aiming towards their expression for each other as black beings and to soon retrace to their roots to be one as we all once were. All while still advancing through the harsh realities that both black men and women go through on a daily basis. Again, a real war with words and ending in a very loving and compassionate manner. Lastly, having Dre Vishiss perform a guest round for his newly engaged wife as he also proposes at the end. Also, just months away from introducing their newborn.
