Special guest Naomi Sharon delivered a standout performance. You couldn’t take your eyes off her; the vocals and lighting were mesmerizing. Her debut album, “Obsidian”, was released in 2023, making her the first female signee to Drake’s record label. Her low-register vocals blew my mind and left me excited for the upcoming Tems performance.

Tems brought the wild to The Anthem with a grassland-themed stage design and warm, bright lighting that filled the atmosphere. Her unique, deep, velvet-like voice brought a sense of balance to the room. Watching the crowd, you could see a few people stunned by her beauty and vocals.

How Did She Get To This Point?

Her journey began with “Mr. Rebel,” a song she produced by herself, which sparked an eruption of excitement from the crowd. The atmosphere was electric as fans sang along to this deep cut, showcasing their passion for Tems from the beginning to now.

The Nigerian singer has made a significant impact in the music industry over the past few years, collaborating with heavyweights like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Drake, and Future. Stepping away from the spotlight, Tems ventured into the crowd and freestyled a few melodies, creating an intimate connection with her fans. This unexpected moment highlighted her versatility and ability to engage with her audience on a personal level.

Overall, Tems concert was not just a performance; it was a celebration of her artistry and a testament to the growing popularity of Afrobeats in the music industry.
