We’ve been saying it, screaming it, and now we are demanding it. SAY THEIR NAMES! Well, it looks like Right Proper Brewing Company is listening and saying it with us!
Right Proper Brewing Company started as a small neighborhood brewpub in the Shaw neighborhood of D.C in 2013. They have since been serving Washingtonians a range of delicious fresh beers and great foods, expanding their reach in a second location in Northeast DC. On June 5th, Right Proper Brewing Company released a 5.0% kellerbier called “Say Their Names” and donated the proceeds to the Black Lives Matter DC. The bottle is wrapped in the names of the victims who have lost their lives due to police brutality. Their staff even donated 100% of their tips that Friday night to support BLM. Now that’s taking a stand!
For these efforts, The DMV Daily and The Food Page are applauding Right Proper Brewing Company for supporting the cause and doing what’s right. We encourage all other businesses to do the same! The time is now to speak up and make a change. Get in order DMV; change is soon to come.
