FBI Agent Arrest In Montgomery County On Sexual Assault Charges.
An FBI Special Agent, Eduardo Valdivia, has been charged with multiple counts of sexual assault involving two adult women, according to Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) officers. The charges include second-degree rape, fourth-degree sex offense, and second-degree assault, as outlined in court documents. Valdivia, 41, is under investigation after the women accused him of assaulting them in separate incidents. MCPD Special Victims Investigations detectives believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
In 2020, Valdivia made headlines after he shot a man during a “verbal exchange” aboard a Metro Red Line train. He was later acquitted by a jury on charges of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and use of a handgun in a felony.
MCPD is scheduled to hold a press conference at police headquarters, where further details on the case will be revealed.
