Three Killed After Being Struck By Train In Springfield

An adult and two children were struck and killed by a train while walking on the tracks in Springfield on Wednesday, according to Fairfax Police. The incident occurred on Accotink Park Rd. around 8:45 p.m.

All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
