Two tigers at a zoo in Virginia have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus, according to WTOP News.

It was reported on Wednesday that the Malayan tigers live at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk. The zoo claims that they have no idea how the tigers were infected with COVID, but they are working with health officials to find out the truth.

The tigers’ names are Stubbley and Osceola. The cats started to show mild symptoms like dry cough and wheezing last week. It was later confirmed that the two animals had COVID.

As a result, the Tigers have been removed from the exhibit and zoo officials say that there’s no risk of humans catching the virus from the animals.

Zoo officials expect them to make a full recovery.
