Women Found Shot To Death Inside The Ivy City Hotel in NE DC

On Friday morning, DC Police disclosed that a woman was found deceased with gunshot injuries at the Ivy City Hotel. The discovery came after authorities responded to a report of an unresponsive female at the 1600 block of New York Ave around 11:20 a.m. MPD officers arrived at the scene and confirmed the woman’s death. The MPD’s Homicide Division is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.

This incident echoes a previous occurrence in March 2023, where a woman from Virginia was fatally stabbed at the same hotel.
