Baltimore’s City Hall is reopening after a two-year hiatus.

The facility has been closed since March 2020 due of the COVID-19 pandemic, but according to news outlets, individuals will be able to attend meetings there again starting Monday.

This includes Board of Estimates and City Council hearings and meetings. Some gatherings will only allow people to testify in person. Meetings of the City Council and the Board of Estimates will continue to be televised live on CharmTV and streamed online.

The municipal council announced on Twitter that its first in-person council meeting will be held on Monday at 5 p.m.

The city’s interior mask rule has been abolished, but masks will be required at City Hall during public meetings. Visitors are subjected to a health screening.
