Fired Metro Driver Allegedly Uses Mother’s Alexandria Address For Fake Driver’s License
A former Metro driver from D.C. pleaded guilty to making over 67 fake driver’s licenses using her mother’s Alexandria address.
The 30-year-old admitted to falsifying documents to obtain her own Virginia commercial license and charging others for similar services from May 2022 to August 2023.
She charged $300 for regular licenses and $450 for commercial ones, advertising the scheme on Instagram.
A Virginia DMV agent caught her reusing bank statements, leading to the cancellation of 124 fraudulent licenses.
She faces up to 15 years in prison, with sentencing on Sept. 26. Multiple people, including two WMATA drivers, were also arrested and charged.
