Six men were incarcerated in Fairfax for attempting to solicit sex from minors
A Fairfax County Police Department sting operation organized by detectives resulted in the arrest of six males who utilized the internet to exploit youngsters.
The accused, aged 26 to 43, were charged with 21 offenses. The operation lasted several days, according to authorities, and in each case, the predators used internet platforms to initiate intimate discussions and solicit sex from police officers posing as minors.
The offenders were apprehended on the spot after agreeing to meet at particular locations.
Raul Ramirez-Roja, 27, of Winchester, is charged with two charges of prostitution and one count of indecent liberties with a juvenile under the age of 15.
Julio Lozano Lazo, 29, of Maryland, is charged with two charges of attempting to commit a sex act, one count of indecent liberties with a child under the age of 15, and one count of procuring a minor for obscene information using a communication system.
Jvonni Farmer, 28, of Woodbridge, is charged with one count of indecent liberties with a child under the age of 15 and one count of the proposed sex act.
William Godoy Estrada, 43, of Arlington, is charged with four charges: attempting to commit a sex act, producing child pornography, and engaging in indecent liberties.
Amd Elmer Juarez Calderon, 26, of Arlington, is charged with one count of attempting to commit a sex act and one count of indecent liberties with a child under the age of 15.
Marcus Hal Sturdivant, 35, of Harrisonburg, is also charged with four counts of prostitution. Officers from the City of Harrisonburg Police Department apprehended Sturdivant.
