Student Brings Loaded Gun To High School In Charles County

 

 

According to officials, a high school student was arrest in Charles County after bringing a loaded gun to school early Tuesday morning.

 

 

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office stated that a teacher notice the student was showing erratic behavior and appeared to be under the influence of drugs at La Plata High School.

The 16-year-old student was escorted out of the class by administrators after being notified by the teacher. They searched the student belongings finding a loaded handgun and marijuana-infused brownies, said officials.

 

According to the Sheriff’s office, the student was arrested and is expected to be charged as in adult.
