Young, bright, and full of positive energy, the rising hip hop star from Florida Trap Beckham is creating a new lane in the genre which promotes a creative, exciting, and genuine form of stress relief with music that you can party to any time and create a “vibe.” Breaking out worldwide in 2016 with his signature hit “Birthday Chick (B*tch),” Beckham has become a staple nearly every significant figure of status and person household when it comes to celebrating birthdays.

“Waking up to videos of Lebron James, Janet Jackson, Halle Berry, the Kardashian Family, and more enjoying their special days with their families to my song is humbling,” he said. “Music is supposed to inspire you, make you feel better, and unify people of all races and cultures. It certainly helps to keeps me motivated to drop more Music that has the potential to impact the culture positively. Coming from Jacksonville, Florida, it’s not too many people creating Music that can reach levels that people I grew up being inspired by, such as Janet or Lebron.”

Coming from a rougher section of Florida, opportunities for artists to bow up are very seldom. He calls for talent seekers and A&Rs to pay attention to local music pages from the state of Florida. To him, “the talent coming out of the state is one of a kind. Specifically, Jacksonville, much love to the Music from other cities in the state such as Orlando or Tampa Bay, my city has some of the dopiest upcoming talent ascending right now! We are a cesspool of hip hop talent just waiting for the world to discover them.”

Florida, in general, seen some of the main staples of hip hop in the past decades come to fruition such as Rick Ross, Kodak Black, XXXtentacion, and more has put the state of the map. He wants the world to know that Atlanta is not the only powerhouse churning out new hip hop stars. However, he attributes his style of Music to be the 2020 version of The Ying Yang twins, the iconic rap duo who shinned in the early 2000s who implored a similar cadence of hit-making style what Beckham has currently. To him, he’s the new era version of the recording-breaking duo. Keeping records spinning in DJ’s catalogs and changing moods for the better from his sounds is all due to his “Trap Beckham Effect.”

“Distinguishing me from other artists, the Trap Beckham effect is impacting lives positively with my music and being present in lives without physically being there,” he said. “Similar to the concept of the Butterfly Effect, creating Music that always maintains relevancy and making people feel better regardless of circumstance is what the Trap Beckham. Refreshing my timeline any time and seeing my song, making somebody happy somewhere different in the world, is what keeps me going!”

Now that “Birthday Chick” has officially been awarded Gold, Trap Beckham wants his fans and new fans to take a listen to his new single “Salsa” featuring former NBA star Iman Shumpert. The duo works well together in creating a high energy single that invigorates listeners into pure feelings of celebration and bliss. Serving as a preview of his upcoming project, Beckham wants his Music to excite people and make them feel good, especially in tough times going on in the world currently.
