We have entered Phase 1 DMV! Many restaurants are reopening their patio and outdoor dining areas effective today! Although there are many mixed feelings on whether it’s too early to lift the restrictions or not, there are many DMV’ers who are pulling their hair out from being stuck inside. No matter what end of the spectrum you fall on, everyone must continue to practice social distancing and proper sanitation at all times. Here are a few restaurants that are opening their outdoor dining areas.
Graces Mandarin (National Harbor, MD)– On June 1st, 2020, this popular Asian-inspired restaurant will be reopening its patio seating for all of the DMV to enjoy. Grace’s is the perfect place to release some of that “quarantine” stress since it overlooks the beautiful waters of National Harbor.
Circa (Foggy Bottom, Navy Yard, Clarendon)– The sun is shining, and Circa is ready to start the weekend off right by opening its outdoor patios. Circa Bistros are known for their specially crafted cocktails, and exquisite decor (inside and out). Circa Bistros has opened all of their locations in D.C. and V.A., so make that reservation and enjoy it!
Teddy and the Bully Bar (Washington D.C., Dupont)– HAPPY HOUR ALL NIGHT! It’s true! This weekend at “modern and presidential” restaurant will be offering patio specials that include: $6 sangrias, new menu items, and a brand new specialty cocktail. Teddy and the Bully Bar opened today at noon!
Alta Strada DC (Washington D.C.) – This notable Italian restaurant is back in business and opening its patio seating on June 1st, 2020. They have implemented new safety measures, including limited seating and dining with masks, but don’t let that stop you!
Ambar- (Arlington, Virginia) – Ambar has opened up 38 patio seats and is ready to serve the DMV! If you enjoy bottomless Balkan cuisine and refreshing cocktails, this is where you need to be.
Medium Rare (Washington, D.C.) Missing the taste of a premium dry-aged sirloin? Medium Rare is happy to serve the DMV in its outdoor seating area. To make things even more tempting, they are open for brunch and dinner!
There you have it, DMV. Take advantage (or don’t) of the food opportunities that are before us. Most restaurants are requiring reservations to limit the capacity of their dining areas, so don’t forget to call ahead to reserve your spot!
