A Community Agency Service Helps Deaf Woman With High Water Bill

Frederick, Maryland resident Denise Sansonese couldn’t hear her toilet running. Her bill ran up to around $5,000 because she didn’t realize it.

Her son Blake Sansonese said she went to the city to address the issue, but there weren’t any interpreters available.

A Frederick County Community Action Agency stepped in Tuesday to help her cover the bill.  Brad Peterson, the Agency Assistant Director of Community Services said he would do anything necessary to knock the bill down to zero.

It’s good to know our elders are still supported and can be helped.
