FREE AGENCY TRACKER: JJ Redick To Leave 76ers For Pelicans

Published

on

Philadelphia’s best outside shooter will ply his trade alongside newly minted No. 1 pick Zion Williamson. Multiple reports, including from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, have JJ Redick joining New Orleans on a two-year deal worth over $26 million. The 35-year-old shooting guard averaged a career-high 18.1 points while shooting 39.7 percent from 3 for the 76ers last season.

Redick adds a dose of much-needed perimeter marksmanship and veteran presence to the rebuilding Pelicans, who will also boast Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram once they finalize a trade to send Anthony Davis to the Lakers.
