In Western Virginia; a man murdered his wife, mother-in-law, & then committed suicide

At a residence in western Virginia, a man killed his wife and mother-in-law before killing himself, according to police.

Officers responding to a 911 call from a home on Highland Avenue NW in Norton on Sunday discovered two ladies and a male dead.

A firearm was discovered in the home by investigators.

According to police, Bryan Wampler appears to have shot and killed his wife, Vivian Wampler, and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Sturgill, before fatally shooting himself.

Their bodies were transported to Roanoke’s Office of the Medical Examiner for examination and autopsy. According to the police, the investigation is still ongoing.
