Baltimore Ravens Rookie kicker Kaare Vedvik was placed on injured reserve today. Vedvik is currently being treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

The Ravens has announced the kicker would be put on the Reserve/Non-football injury list.
Ravens media representative Tom Valente had this to say:
“We are aware that Kaare is being treated for head wounds and we are monitoring the situation.”
Baltimore Sun reported that Vedvik is currently in stable condition at Shock Trauma this afternoon.
Around 4 A.M. the Baltimore City Fire Department requested the Baltimore Police Department in reference to the to an injured person.
Officers arrived at the scene to find Vedvick suffering from upper body injuries. The cause of injury is not yet known, but it has been reported to be not be life-threatening.
