Three Things We Don’t Know About You?

I was raised in Waldorf & I used college as an excuse to get to NYC and spread my music.

I been rappin since I was 8. I remember I used to battle niggas at the park when I was in elementary school. Matter of fact I still got old notebooks from 3rd grade full of childish-ass lyrics lls

My last project, Winter II, is on Spinrilla, Apple Music, and Spotify for all the real g’s and g’ettes

Define you in five words?

I’ll go with cancer, introvert, and real ass nigga

Favorite pre-studio traditions?

I just gotta be in my bag. My surroundings have to be perfect for me to write the way I want to – I dont need a bunch of niggas in the studio with me, partying and shit. If a couple good friends wanna be there thats cool, cus I know they there for the music and can give me constructive criticism. I recorded most of Winter II at my studio in the crib wit a pack of backwoods and a tropical fantasy.

Top five biggest musical influences?

This list about to sound wild but I gotta say my biggest musical influences stem from artists I grew up listening to like Pac and Lauryn Hill. But at the same time I think the artists I listen to now like Cole, Curren$y, and even Trel have a big influence on me too. Yea I just put Pac, Cole, and Fat Trel on the same list, told you it was wild lmao

 Define the music industry?

Keeping it a stack this shit a trap. I’m all for the MUSIC,  the creation and the artistry the goes behind it. But the INDUSTRY aspect of this game is some shit I still gotta figure out. A lot of artists (specifically rappers) just think they want a record deal & thats gon feed them for the rest of they lives, fact of the matter is these label heads only looking out for themselves.

I respect the creatives that do it themselves and go the independent route. It’s all a game of networking.

Artists and media personalities you like to work with more?

I fuck with what PatIsDope is doing, he really be tryna connect creatives in the DMV and you gotta fuck with that. If I could collab wit Pat for a interview that would be live. You too Livenggod, fuck wit you hard.

It’s not too many artists I want to work with that I haven’t already. Me and my nigga Cruzer Santana (Cruzer_Santana) got whole tapes in the vault. Me and Entendre (@RealEntendre) make a hit together on every project.

I definitely need my Trel feature though, matter of fact look out for that in 2018 I’m stamping it now.

Any Shout outs?

I definitely want to shout out my niggas over at 100GrandRecords (@100GrandRecs).

Shoutout my brothers Scotty Brown (@realscottybrown) and Two32 (@2_32am).

Name ten artists you want to work with?

My music taste all over the place so y’all just gotta bare wit me lol
