The DMV Daily Interviews: Vesta

 I’m gonna be honest, I know little to nothing about the music industry. it’s pretty obvious it’s becoming less about about the music and genuine interest and more about strategy and over saturation. It feels very forced and manufactured to me. I have no interest in it, I make music for me.

 I’d love to sit in with radio hosts and network with more Dj’s, bloggers, etc. Especially Little Bacon Bear. She’s such a free spirited person, i love everything about her. An artist I’d love to work with is Rico Nasty. Anyone who knows me knows I am a HUGE fan. I can’t seem to figure out how though. She has a very unique dynamic that is obviously unmatched.

 Huge shoutout to some of the most hard working artists/producers in Virginia that i know of (not in any particular order) Miah Travis, Lacree, Kwad, Breeze Park, Von sensei, ConFromThe703, Jang, Devonte Tymon, Tokyo Trendz, Andre Palace and Al Feury. But most importantly the people who support me and trust my process more than i do.

 if i could work with 10 artists RIGHT NOW it’d have to be Goldlink, Masego, Brent Faiyaz, Daniel Caesar, Smino, 6lack, Isaiah Rashad, Khalid, Tyler the Creator, and Labrinth.
