Governor Ralph Northam of Virginia appeared live on television on February 24, 2021, to bring attention to early vaccinations to the Virginia community. Starting this week, adults 65 and older will have the opportunity to get vaccinated. You can pre-registrar at vaccinate.virgina.gov.
“Those who suffer from underline medical conditions and is under the age of 65, must go through their doctor first and get a note in order to take the vaccine,” stated Janeen Fernandez, a representative of answernet.com with Virginia Call Center (VCC).
People who have registered and receive their first dose must wait 21-28 days to receive the second dose. More than 60,000 people have been getting vaccinated a day. Governor Northam strongly suggests people pre-registrar and get vaccinated as soon as possible to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
Walmart, Giant, CVS, and other stores will have sites to distribute the vaccine. Bring your insurance card along with your ID when you go to get vaccinated.
