Following a high scoring thriller in a loss to the Boston Celtics, the Washington Wizards ended a three-game losing streak on the road with a 137-116 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The win gives the Wizards three on the season.

Wizards All-Star guard Bradley Beal led the team with 44 points and 10 assists in the game shooting 15/22 from the field and 13/14 from the free throw line. This is the second straight game Beal has scored 40 points or more and his third 40 point game of the season. This is also the third game of Beal’s career with 40 or more points and 10 or more assists.

Off the bench for the Wizards, Moritz Wagner finished the game with a career-high 30 points and a career-high 15 rebounds on 13/15 shooting from the field and a perfect 4/4 from three-point range. This makes Wagner the first bench player to ever finish a game with at least 30 points, 15 rebounds and four three-pointers.

Wizards center Thomas Bryant finished the game with 12 points and nine rebounds, guard Troy Brown Jr. finished with 11 points and sevend rebounds and former All-Star guard Isaiah Thomas finished with 10 points and five assists.

The Minnesota T-Wolves were led by All-Star center Karl Anthony-Towns who finished the game 36 points and 10 rebounds while forward Robert Covington finished with 20 points and six rebounds. The Timberwolves were without Andrew Wiggins who missed the game for personal reasons.

The Wizards will look to win consecutive games for the first time this season as they go on the road Sunday afternoon to play the Orlando Magic.
