15-year-old killed by gunshot in Northwest DC

Authorities say a 15-year-old boy was killed by a gunshot in Northwest D.C. on Monday night.

Around 10:50 p.m., detectives arrived at the 3000 block of 13th Street to investigate a shooting and discovered a 15-year-old with gunshot wounds.

Malachi Jackson of Northwest, D.C., was recognized as the teen who died on the scene.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered by police for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual or persons responsible.
