A substitute teacher was arrested after slapping an 8-year-old student at school in Woodbridge
According to authorities, a temporary teacher at a Prince William County primary school was arrested and charged with hitting an 8-year-old student in a classroom.
The alleged incident occurred on April 1 at Frannie Fitzgerald Elementary School in Woodbridge.
According to officials, an 8-year-old male pupil became agitated and spat on the substitute teacher, who then struck the youngster in the face before fleeing the classroom. The event was reported to school management, who notified authorities.
Eman Mohammed Alkindi, 44, was arrested on April 8th. Alkindi faces assault and battery charges, according to police, and was released on a court summons.
At the moment, Alkindi’s court date is pending.
