KingJames & Ace-N-DaHol Drop Nostalgic New Single “Don’t Stop (Body Rock)” from Collaboration Project Aces & Kings

Classic boom bap takes center stage as KingJames and Ace-N-DaHol officially release their new single “Don’t Stop (Body Rock)”, produced by Gwop Sullivan and featured on their collaborative project Aces & Kings.

Rooted in the sound and spirit of traditional hip-hop, “Don’t Stop (Body Rock)” blends hard drums, layered horns, lyric-driven verses, and the kind of chemistry that can only come from years of collaboration. The release reflects the duo’s longtime connection, dating back to their earlier days working together in the group Capital Hill.

For KingJames, the record isn’t about recreating an era—it’s about continuing one. Growing up in the Bronx and living through multiple generations of hip-hop culture, the sound of Aces & Kings comes from experience rather than nostalgia. “It’s in our blood. From growing up in the Bronx, I am hip-hop,” he previously explained.

The production from Gwop Sullivan immediately sets the tone. Horn-driven and gritty, the instrumental channels the energy of early ’90s New York rap while still feeling current. Instead of chasing modern trends, “Don’t Stop (Body Rock)” leans fully into bars, structure, and authenticity.

That same authenticity carries through the title Aces & Kings itself, pulled directly from the names Ace-N-DaHol and KingJames. The project represents identity, history, and the balance between the two artists’ styles.

Released through KingOfAllKings, the single also reflects the freedom that comes with independence. Without outside pressure shaping the music, the focus stays on the culture and the craft.

Lyrically, “Don’t Stop (Body Rock)” pays homage to hip-hop’s roots while still speaking from present-day experience. From references to fashion and movement to the gritty energy of Bronx upbringing, the record feels grounded in real life rather than imitation.

For listeners looking for substance over gimmicks, the release delivers exactly what KingJames and Ace-N-DaHol intended: original flows, real stories, and music made from the soul.

“Don’t Stop (Body Rock)” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
