Little Bacon Bear Returns to 93.9 WKYS, Taking Over Middays in the DMV
DMV listeners, your favorite radio personality is officially back. After a three- to four-year hiatus, Little Bacon Bear has returned to the airwaves with Urban One’s 93.9 WKYS, reclaiming her place as one of the region’s most recognizable voices. She officially returned last week and will now host middays every weekday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., bringing her unmistakable energy, cultural insight, and high-impact presence back to the DMV.
Little Bacon Bear previously hosted evening programming on WKYS, where she quickly emerged as a standout personality. During her earlier run, she built a loyal audience through creative and interactive segments such as the Bacon Challenge, Crank Session, and the fan-favorite KYS Versus. That segment, in particular, became a staple for highlighting both emerging and established DMV artists while tapping directly into the pulse of the local music scene.
With deep roots in Prince George’s County, Little Bacon Bear has been part of the Urban One family since 2017. Over the years, she has earned a reputation for championing local talent and serving as a bridge between major artists and the DMV community. Her approach to radio reflects a genuine commitment to the culture and a clear passion for elevating voices from the region.

A Trusted Voice in DMV Culture
Beyond radio, Little Bacon Bear stands as one of the DMV’s most sought-after young DJs. She remains consistently present at the intersection of music, nightlife, and culture. Her work has included hosting and collaborations with major brands such as Essence, BET, and YouTube, further cementing her status as a trusted tastemaker and influential media personality.
Her return to WKYS signals more than just a programming change. It marks a renewed focus on authenticity, local culture, and connection with listeners. With her signature style and deep community ties, Little Bacon Bear’s midday show is poised to become a daily destination for DMV audiences.
Listeners can tune in to 93.9 WKYS weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to catch Little Bacon Bear back where she belongs—on the air. For updates, behind-the-scenes content, and cultural commentary, follow her on social media at @littlebaconbear.
